BET Original Drama Queendom is now streaming on eVOD This February

eVOD welcomed BET’s original drama series Queendom, which made its streaming debut on the platform on 5 February 2026.

Rooted in African heritage and driven by destiny, Queendom explores themes of tradition, ancestry, identity, power, and survival. At the heart of the story is Nthandokayise “Ntando” Mthombeni, played by Linda Mtoba, a fearless community leader from Tsakane who discovers that she is the rightful heir to the throne of the Khahlamba Kingdom. Unaware of her royal lineage, Ntando’s life is turned upside down when a truth her mother has hidden for over 30 years finally comes to light.

Her mother, Tholakele Mthombeni, played Sindi Dlathu, fled the kingdom decades ago to protect her child, keeping Ntando’s royal bloodline a secret. Now, as Ntando is forced to confront her destiny, she must navigate a dangerous world of palace politics, betrayal and ruthless power struggles that threaten both her life and the future of the kingdom.

Queendom brings together an extraordinary ensemble of South African acting royalty. The distinguished cast includes Hamilton Dlamini as King Banzi Khahlamba, Mduduzi Mabaso as Prince Andile Khahlamba, Pallance Dladla as the ambitious and immoral Prince Mcebo Khahlamba, Dawn Thandeka King as Queen MaNdlovu, and Linda Mtoba in a career-defining role as Ntando. Slindile Nodangala, Themba Ndaba, Mike Mvelase, Lehasa Moloi, Nhlanhla Kunene, and Patrick Mofokeng further bolster the stellar line-up.

Produced by Clive Morris Productions, Queendom is led by Head Director Andries van der Merwe, with Series Directors Athi Patela and Menga Nhlabathi, Head Writer Lunga Radebe, and Showrunner Sayitsheni Mdakhi.

From the streets of Tsakane to the throne of a kingdom, Queendom is a gripping tale of awakening, courage, and the price of destiny.

Catch Queendom streaming on eVOD from 5 February 2026.
