TOPS at SPAR Win a Car 2026 Awards Six Custom Cars

The TOPS at SPAR Win a Car 2026 campaign has officially crowned six lucky winners, each driving away in a one-of-a-kind custom-designed vehicle inspired by the vibrant worlds of beer, whiskey, cocktail, wine, gin and tequila kulcha

Blending art, lifestyle, and automotive culture, this year’s campaign partnered with some of South Africa’s most exciting visual artists, graffiti talents, and illustrators to transform six vehicles into moving works of art. Each vehicle reflected the personality, energy, and identity of a different kulcha category. 

The campaign not only captured the imagination of consumers across the country but also created a powerful platform for local creative talent to showcase their work on a national stage. 

Among the standout creatives featured in the campaign is visual artist Mduduzi “Psalm1” Tshabalala – who designed the Whiskey Kulcha vehicle – a respected creative who has been honing his craft since 1997. Recognised for his authentic graffiti style and years of competitive experience, Psalm1 infused the vehicle with timeless urban energy and creative authenticity, reflecting the evolving whiskey culture celebrated by TOPS at SPAR – which now includes Galloglass Whiskey – exclusively available at TOPS at SPAR stores nationwide

Artist, illustrator and designer Shaun “Damn Vandal” Oakley designed both the Beer and Tequila Kulcha cars, bringing his distinctive contemporary street-art style to the campaign. His visually dynamic creations reflect celebration, individuality and fearless self-expression. 

KevSeven, who designed the Wine Kulcha car. Known for redefining what it means to be Black through his art, KevSeven’s work celebrates Black beauty, resilience, heritage and pride. His design brought sophistication, symbolism and storytelling together in a striking visual masterpiece. 

“Art is about connection, identity and representation,” says KevSeven. “To see people engaging with the work in such an exciting and celebratory way has been incredibly rewarding.” 

Meanwhile, illustrator and graphic designer Mncedisi “Agrippa” Hlophe designed both the Cocktail and Gin Kulcha cars, delivering fresh and vibrant visuals inspired by social culture, style and modern design aesthetics. 

The excitement reached new heights as six fortunate consumers were announced as the official winners of the TOPS at SPAR Win a Car 2026 campaign, each matched to one of the uniquely designed vehicles after entering through participating TOPS at SPAR stores nationwide. 

The winners include: 

  • Ruan Smal – Winner of the Whisky Kulcha Car from Rynfield TOPS at SPAR, East Rand   
  • Sabinah Matsane – Winner of the Wine Kulcha Car from Soshanguve Crossing TOPS at SPAR, City of Tshwane 
  • Yolande Janse Van Vuuren – Winner of the Cocktail Kulcha Car from Elisenheim TOPS at SPAR, Namibia 
  • Xolisani Dlamini – Winner of the Beer Kulcha Car from Power TOPS at SPAR, Kwa Mashu 
  • Sam Noseko – Winner of the Tequila Kulcha Car from Lighthouse 1 TOPS at SPAR, Eastern Cape  
  • John Machavana – Winner of the Gin Kulcha Car from Acornhoek TOPS at SPAR, Lowveld

Anna-Marie Marks, National Marketing Manager – Liquor at TOPS at SPAR, says the campaign was designed to create an unforgettable experience for consumers while celebrating South African creativity and culture.

More than just a competition, it captured the imagination of shoppers nationwide, turning everyday purchases into unforgettable moments and culminating in the handover of truly exclusive collector-style vehicles.
