Black Cat Celebrates 100 Years with a Special with Paul’s Homemade Ice Cream

South Africa’s most loved peanut butter brand will be marking a century of flavour, nostalgia, and connection, Black Cat is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Paul’s Homemade Ice Cream, a youth-favourite quick-service ice-cream brand, to launch a limited-edition Black Cat-inspired dessert experience as they bridge into their 100th year.

The collaboration will introduce a decadent swirl cone and peanut butter sundae, inspired by the unmistakable taste of Black Cat peanut butter. In addition to the range, Paul’s will also unveil two new heritage-inspired ice cream flavours created in honour of the centenary:

• PB & Jam-Packed Summer – a smooth Black Cat peanut butter ice cream rippled with bright All Gold strawberry jam and layered with a rich peanut butter swirl.

• Black Cat Brunch Club – a crunchy Black Cat peanut butter base folded with milk chocolate stracciatella and spiced French toast crumb, celebrating the iconic peanut-butter-on-toast moment with a holiday twist.

This limited-edition treat brings together the richness of creamy ice cream with the nutty indulgence South Africans have loved for generations, blending nostalgia with modern flavour appeal in a way that feels both familiar and exciting.

This collaboration not only marks the beginning of celebrating 100 years of originality, but also introduces a fresh, indulgent way for our consumers to enjoy the unmistakable taste of Black Cat Peanut Butter in a sensorial explosion of flavour. At the heart of the campaign is the idea of transforming a simple treat into a symbol of shared joy, reconnecting South Africans to the moments, memories, and flavours that have shaped their lives.

The limited-edition Black Cat swirl cone and peanut butter sundae will be available for a limited time at selected Paul’s Homemade Ice Cream outlets across South Africa from 01 December 2025 to 3 December 2025.
