Patel  came into spotlight in 2016 when she and many  other young girls refused to abide by unjust rules that penalised learners for their natural hair, as it was deemed untidy. Iyooo!!! lentomazana na bangane bakhe baBrav sham !!!!

A rule that has been adhered to by many high schools around South Africa for decades. But yena she was like “NO NOT MY HAIR!!!” .Khumbula mchana refusal to remove the rule transformed into a fight against “systematic racism” that other pupils in different schools began to take part in.

Le ntombazana, Zulaikha Patel, advocating the natural hair movement in high schools, ba bangata dubbed her as the millennial symbol of black consciousness, who acted against white supremacy.

Imagine hle Now, mosetsana yoo, Patel finds herself as a symbol of struggle against systematic racism, even outside the borders of South Africa.The young high school girl has inspired a new mural by a well-known New York City street artist.

Lexi Bella, a renowned American muralist who has created tributes to prominent female political and pop culture leaders,including of Patel,is among few who has honored this young girl for her bravery.Other renowned artist such as the likes of   @keturahAriel @NataliaMurobha le bona have also salute her and shown respect and painted her…mmmmh mara  which artist will also do such forr mna?Hai gal uIskhokho sham !!!
