Whether romantic love or friendship, Valentine’s Day is about showing affection and admiration for the ones we love. On Tuesday, 14 February, Proudly South African & LIFT demonstrated an act of local love in the air to celebrate the festival of love. The early bird flights to JHB/CPT/JHB and JHB/DBN/JHB set the recommended tone of local love for travellers on the day.

Many regions worldwide celebrate this day’s significance by showing admiration for their loved ones through flowers, chocolates, teddy bears, and getaways. So, the setting was just right as passengers were greeted by local is lekker V-Day surprises of roses and chocolates as Proudly SA LIFTed travellers locally.

The ambience was excellently set out by Catherine ‘Cathy’ Del Mei’, who serenaded passengers with melodic sounds from her saxophone enroute to CPT and on the flight to DBN, travellers were serenaded by Lesego ‘Psycho Sax’ Molefe with some sweet melodies.
