I had an opportunity to meet Innocencia Mandindi, a second year law student who is one of North-West brightest rising stars, driven by a combination of talent, hard work and enthusiastic that’s certain to take her on stratospheric heights .She has recently made it to the top 30 semi-finalists of Miss Commonwealth South Africa Pageants.
Few young ladies in the province can captivate one’s on a number of different fronts such as beauty and brains, and do it with a dash of mystery like Innocencia. While i was having a good chat with Mandindi i realised that there’s seemingly no end to her talents in her lifestyle and she’s backing it all up with some good academic background. I remember when i first heard about her was when she thrust into the spotlight in December 2013 when her name was the buzzword in the Dr Ruth Mompati, in the North-West province. This comes after she was announced amongst provincial top achievers and was awarded with the district bursary. In 2014, during her first year in the University in Mafikeng Campus she was also recognished and honoured with Merit Bursary for her outstanding marks to pursue her studies.
What many don’t know is I’m now her manager. But i can not tell how she juggles all she does and still maintain to get good marks in her academics. This Taung born law student is a Cheerleader Coach, Aerobics, motivational speaker and she was an Ambassador of Cell, Samsung, First National Bank and Debonairs Pizza, during the University football Cup 2014.Innocencia continue to set goal for herself .In a same year, she was among the top five finalists of Miss NWU Mafikeng Campus beauty pageant . She also takes part in the Students for Law and Social Justice (SLSJ) on campus, whereby they do visit schools to raise awareness on human trafficking.
