Young, fresh, musically trained artist, Benny Afroe, has created a new wave in the urban fashion, music and lifestyle scene with Drip Sundays in collaboration with Macc Gee and Sandile M.
“Drip Sundays are what I’ve always dreamt of… Creating a culture where music meets fashion in the form of a social event,” shares Benny Afroe.
The fashion meets music lifestyle events take place at Sneaker Cartel in Cape Town and the next one is coming this Sunday, 1 December 2019 featuring special performance by Nalingi and Rent hit-maker, Manu WorldStar, as he embarks on his Young African Story tour.
Tickets are available at Webtickets and can be purchase online here https://www.webticket.co.za/v2/Event.aspx?itemid=1496072597 or at Pick ‘n Pay stores. R60 for General and R150 for VIP.
Now gearing up for its third installment, Drip Sundays have brought something different to the Cape Town urban scene and has been positively received.
“As a musician, I’ve always been fascinated by the link between music and fashion. It almost feels like your outfit becomes a big part of your performance. That’s what made me fall even more in love with fashion. I find it interesting how clothing can almost unite people in a way. We have found Drip Sundays to be such a great way to celebrate fashion (Drip) as we know it now. A place where people can get together looking super stylish and socialise over great music and refreshments,” expresses Benny Afroe.
From bringing you Hello Baby! which charted in the USA to Good Bye which is a Top 100 song in the country right now, Benny Afroe’s Drip Sundays are an extension of his creativity and definitely not to be missed.
