Everyone who was at the Maftown Heights still suffers from a fever. Hai sana! not because of the rain but because the event was dope! About 90,000 people on social media, particularly Facebook on this day (28/11/16),three days later from the actual event, are still going crazy about what went down ,is like they have been hypnotized by the fireworks created by the Motswako pioneers and SA Hip Hop cats best performances.
When it started raining i thought to myself,Hai sham Kuphelile,kuzo fiwa! Little did i know that will not stop anyone from jumping up and down, spitting their favorite witty lyrics . Wonke umutu ube se la was just having fun nje. Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown, Johannesburg was on fire.
What was so unique and new about this year’s 7th annual Maftown Heights was that the prince of maftown , Cassper Nyovest and Super Mega a.k.a. King Bae,AKA, got included in the stellar lineup of artists who brought their A-Game and created flames everywhere.
It was my first time attending the event and I must say I had fun and time to network. It was going down in flames.Thanks to KFC , hot wings and street wise were Gallo !!! Hai sham the organizers really went all out to create a REAL VIP section
The highlight of the night was the motswako originator Khuli Chana spicy one source performance. The Don was at his #BeAbsolut best. Another one was of Bosso ya di bosso -HHP with the prince of Maftown ,Cassper Nyovest, performing together and reminiscing about old good days, on stage. Dude talk about bromance!Although their performance was extremely short but it was one to remember.
Who else than the king kotini, Riky Rick could make everyone seems crazy, singing and dancing like nobody was watching “Sidlukotin’, kwedini, ‘cava le-Jean kwedini”.

Last but not list, a.k.a. 3rdWorldBoss a.k.a. Doro Mega, was just on another level. This guy takes his fans serious, I stand to be corrected but he is the only artist who performed more than four songs and he brought the stage down.
