Thembi Seete & Chef Mbombi cook a delicious Fatti’s & Moni’s inspired meal for friends and family.

In the world of gastronomy, where creativity meets passion, a thrilling collaboration has taken place. Two powerhouses, renowned brand Chef Mbombi and beloved TV star, Thembi Seete joined forces to create an unforgettable cooking experience using Fatti’s & Moni’s Bellissimo range that will make you lick your fingers; talk about a match made in culinary heaven.

As seen on their posts on social media their shared love for food, combined with their individual expertise, creates a dynamic synergy that brings bucatini to new heights. Through the magic of Fatti’s & Moni’s, this collaboration leaves an indelible mark, reminding us of the joy and freedom to create.

This recipe inspired me to host MY family and friends this weekend, maybe it will do the same for you too. Below is a Pulled lamb shank and Bellissimo Bucatini pasta recipe shared by Thembi and Chef Mbombi just to remind you that you’ve always been Eat’alian!

Pulled lamb shank and bucatini pasta
60 ml olive oil
2 lamb shanks
1 cup onion
6 cloves garlic minced 1 tsp coarse Salt
1 and a half tsp pepper for seasoning 1/4 cup flour seasoning
4 cups beef stock
1 and a half cups of milk stout
2 cups of chopped tomatoes 1 Tbsp tomato paste
2 cups stocks
1 Tbsp fresh Rosemary
1 Tbsp fresh thyme 2 bay leaves
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Heat 30ml of oil in a heavy-based pot over medium-high heat. Sear two shanks in the hot oil until browned on all sides.
Remove and Transfer to a plate
In the same pan sauté the carrots and diced onions until softened then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Return the shanks to the pot, season with 1 teaspoon coarse salt and 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper. Sprinkle with flour, toss well, and cook for 4-5 minutes to brown the flour.
Add stock, milk stout, tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, and herbs. Bring to a simmer on the stove.
Cover and transfer shanks to the oven and cook for 2 1/2 hours, or until the meat falls apart NB adjust Umlilo ingashi
Remove shanks and shred
Discard bay leaves and simmer sauce till thick Return the shredded shank to the sauce
