As we draw closer and closer to the biggest party night of the year, it’s no surprise that excitement is mounting up with plans being crafted and solidified now. Promoters of the much-anticipated GRAND FINALE announced the inclusion of controversial rapper Emtee, the next big thing A-Reece, the ever stylish Riky Rick and hiphop princess Gigi LaMayne.
Having launched the event into the market last month with headliner Nasty C, early bird tickets to the ultimate party experience have quickly sold out. Set to shut down the city for the night, the lineup has just got a lot more spicy.
The Grand Finale, one of Africa’s most premium Hip Hop NYE Festival will include some of SA’s finest hiphop artists, some of who will perform ‘exclusively’ at the event on the 31st December at the Kings Park Stadium. This includes SA hiphop royalty Nasty C, Gigi LaMayne and currently voted SA’s most stylist artist Riky Rick.
Ambitious Records artists Emtee and A-Reece will also headline alongside a long list of Durban’s finest talent including Zakwe and Aewon Wolf. Kings of the decks include DJ Feel, DU Boiz, JNR de Rocka, Benny Maverick and Major League DJ’s. To add some extra spice, the lineup also includes the multi award winning Zakes Bantwini, legendary hiphop outfit PRO, DJ Bongz and Chynaman.
Limited to only 10 000 party goers, tickets are available through Computicket and will only be open to party goers over the age of 18.
