The 11th South African film and Television awards (SAFTAS11) recently celebrated and honoured the South African Film and television stars,in the North West Province. Iyooo ntwana thanks to the McCafé, the lifestyle coffee brand by McDonald’s South Africa, which proud to had been a headline sponsor of the SAFTAs that took place on 18 March in Sun City. The biggest weekend of the local awards season was lit!!!

Hai sham, McCafeSA ke BOSSO!!! It hosted several exclusive social events for the nominees and members of the media and bloggers prior the main glitz evening of the awards ceremony.

On Thursday evening after checking in,I had to get ready for “The“McCafe Nominee Cocktail Evening” which aimed at celebrating the nominees for the Best Actor and Actress in Feature film.

McDonald’s sponsorship, through McCafe, was initially instituted in 2016 and in their second year, have migrated the sponsorship from the Best Youth Production category, to the Best Male and Best Female in a Feature Film. Through this sponsorship, McDonald’s South Africa demonstrate their commitment to being a good neighbor to the communities in which they operate and show their support in advancing and developing the exceptional talent that exists on the media that they use extensively for their marketing efforts.
Hai sonke siyayzi kuthi in Africa, there is no better way to celebrate any mile stone than dancing and singing. Iyooo ntwana if you weren’t there you missed out big time,it went down in flames at the SAFTAS Sun beach party ! Abongwana (ladies) in their bikinis ,showing off God’s creations and majita in their short pants showing off their bracats, kiss madolo and their six packs.
Wonke umutu was just having fun, food and free booze was galore. All took place at the valley of the waves…yes still in Sun City. Stoan Seate as the MC, kept everyone laughing and music got everyone dance like nobody is watching.
After a long night of intoxication ,nothing better than buffet breakfast could have made me feel better so the invitation of PACINAMIX Champagne Breakfast came in handy.

While indulging in scrumptious buffet,we were introduced to the incredible McDonald and PACINAMIX team

This was more than just a breakfast,it was a networking session.Me so many incredible people from various media houses. But i must say my highlight was having a chat with Queen B (who was in the same hotel) in the palace but did not attend the breakfast with us
