PACOFS UNVEILS THE INAUGURAL “HAE LAPENG” CONCERT LINE UP AND PROGRAMME HOSTED BY MAPASEKA KOETLE
PACOFS is thrilled to unveil the inaugural “Hae Lapeng” Concert line up and programme coming to Sand du Plessis Theatre on March 25th 2023, hosted by Freestate born actress Mapaseka Koetle. The programme and lineup will showcase an array of performances, from song, dance, poetry and monologues.

The music line up will be headlined by award winning and Amazulu hitmaker Amanda Black, the first lady of Kwaito Tamara Dey, Afro Soul artist and musical director Bondo and Just 6, an acapella group. On the decks DJ Lovers from Lesedi FM will keep the energy high and wind down the night away with old and new school jams to keep the audience dancing all night long.
“I am beyond excited to get to share the stage with the incredible artists on the Hae Lapeng concert lineup! Can’t wait to celebrate music, dance, poetry and theatre with you all in Bloemfontein this weekend!”, said the first lady of Kwaito Tamara Dey.
The concert’s poetry, dance and monologue lineup is proudly made up of a majority
of Free State-born artists,who have honed their talents at PACOFS in the past, including veteran actor and coach Tinah Mnumzana. In the poetry lineup, spoken word artist Kwena Peu and international performing poet Nthabiseng JahRose Jafta will collaborate and serenade audiences with a unique poetry medley. The PACOFS band will pay tribute to Sibongile Khumalo and Tshepo Tshola with a special rendition of and Now or New Never. Award-winning dancer Thami Majela will showcase
fresh and cutting-edge choreography moves.
The ecstatic veteran actress Tina Mnumzana said “HAE LAPENG…. A home where my Professional Career in the arts was unleashed 37 years ago. I am excited to be part of this inaugural Hae Lapeng concert lineup and part of PACOFS’s transformative journey. I encourage lovers of the arts across the country to come and join us as we embrace the beauty and magic of the arts and be transported to a place of pure creativity and passion.
The concert aims to take all stakeholders and the creative industry at large on the
new PACOFS journey of becoming one of the iconic hubs of performing arts in South
Africa. Lovers of the arts and theatre will be treated to an artistic offering of a nostalgic journey to explore the meaning of home.
The inaugural “Hae Lapeng Concert aims to be a stand-out event in the province. Bringing industry enthusiasts across the country and beyond to Bloemfontein will also contribute positively to local tourism and the hospitality industry.
The performers are sure to dazzle the stage with their incredible talent and showmanship. Hae Lapeng, will take place at the Sand du Plessis Theatre in Bloemfontein at 18:00 CAT. Tickets are sold on Webticket, the PACOFS Box Office and selected Pick n Pays at R150.
