Since the release of the deluxe edition of Kenyan superstar Bien’s debut album Alusa Why Are You Topless? On 19 July, the project saw significant achievements and milestones.
The album, which features popular tracks like ‘My Baby’ (ft. Ayra Starr), ‘Ma Cherie’, ‘Lifestyle’ (ft. Skar Mkadinali), and ‘Too Easy’ (ft. DJ Edu), has continued to resonate with fans across the continent and beyond. My favourite track “Wahala”, produced by Remy Baggins, is a monstrous afrobeats smash featuring the legendary Adekunle Gold and rising star ShineTTW, set to a 3-step inspired drum pattern, and sees Bien exalting a fine lady. “Wahala for your bumper” is a line that will be ringing out at the groove everywhere this summer.
