A Transcontinental Collaboration

Distance is no barrier when creativity knows no bounds. Jack Black and Mad Giant, hailing from Cape Town and Johannesburg respectively, have once again teamed up to bring us a truly special beer. This year, their collaborative effort has resulted in the limited-edition Jack & The Giant Pale Ale.
Brewed in two distinct locations, this New England Pale Ale showcases the unique characteristics of each city. Despite using the same recipe and ingredients, the differing brewing environments—water profiles, elevations, equipment, and brewing teams—lead to subtle yet fascinating variations in the final product.

The Jack & The Giant Pale Ale is a tropical paradise in a glass. Bursting with flavors of pineapple, papaya, and citrus, this hazy, juicy beer offers a soft, velvety mouthfeel. Brewed with a combination of Mosaic, Amarillo, and El Dorado hops, this beer is a true hophead’s dream.
As with previous collaborations, this limited-edition brew is expected to fly off the shelves. So, if you’re a fan of craft beer, be sure to grab a can or head to a taproom to experience this unique brew.

Whether you’re sipping it in the Cape or Jozi, the Jack & The Giant Pale Ale is a testament to the power of collaboration and the enduring appeal of great beer.
