The Bathu brand, a trailblazer in the South African footwear industry, was all set to expand its presence in the vibrant city of Durban. With four stores( Gateway, Pavillion, Midlands and Galleria Mall) currently operating in the region, Bathu geared up to amplify its brand awareness and take the market by storm with an exciting 3-day immersion from Thursday, 3rd August to Saturday, 6th August.

Over the past few years, Bathu has experienced tremendous growth, successfully opening stores across the country and witnessing impressive returns in certain regions. However, the brand is eager to unlock the untapped potential in Durban, where they believe their efforts can yield significant rewards.

Thursday, 03rd August – Media Engagement : Bathukickstarted the immersive experience with a Media Activation, where esteemed journalists, bloggers, and media representatives had an exclusive opportunity to discover the essence of the Bathu brand, its unique journey, and its innovative product offerings. This event will serve as a platform for the media to share Bathu’s compelling narrative with their audiences.

Friday, 04th August – CSI School Shoe Drop: As part of their commitment to social responsibility, Bathu conducted a School Shoe Drop event on Friday, 04th August, providing underprivileged learners at Siyandamazulu Primary School at kwa Mashu with brand-new school shoes. This initiative reflects Bathu’s dedication to making a positive impact in the communities they serve and fostering a sense of pride and confidence in young learners.

Saturday, 05th August – Midlands Store Activation: The immersive experience was culminate with a Store Activation at the Midlands location on Saturday, 05thAugust. This event was open to the public and provided an exciting opportunity for consumers to interact with the brand, explore the diverse product range, and immerse themselves in the Bathu experience.
