Music is something that everyone grew up in especially in black families but a genre to fall in love with is a choice.
uDeddie born Oscar Nyathi and originally hailing from Bulawayo is no different from any township boy whose love for house music was nurtured by listening to radio.
Music giants by the likes of the late dj Monde, dj Tokzen -Greg Maloka- Roger Good –the late Khabzela and the late Iggy Smalls- Oskido- Revolution – Christos, VinnyDaVinci, Otto B, China ,Glen Lewis, Rude Boy were mostly the djs who started with YFM radio station which was mainly targeted at the youth and that led to the style and identity of the type of house music he listens to and prefers to play even to this day.
uDeddie as he is affectionately known, has always had a vision from his youth days in Kempton Park to build a career in music and entertainment and this vision took a turn for the best when he started hanging around Djs/producers and event organizers and thus gaining experience in the process.
“It’s through such relationships that have been built in the past 14years that have made it possible for me to drop my first single titled Seasons featuring Nickson on the vocals, which is receiving love among my peers and radio stations alongside my regular mix tapes titled Rules Of Beat which also receives lots of love from the house family”
His second single Buhle Bendalo which he worked on with Nwabisa Magadla from Eastern Cape on vocals is sure going to be a hit as it celebrates everything beautiful like nature, human beings but especially women.
uDeddie is a day to day hustler and a go getter who pushes hard together with the team he works with @OwnItSA to make sure that people enjoy house music.
Like anyone who has a vision uDeddie’s future plans include establishing himself as a house DJ/artist while learning best practises from those that are already in the industry as well as trying his level best to circulate his music throughout the country while also introducing other underground artist in the process to make sure that there is growth within the industry.
