Our girl is back like she never left, the hit light-hearted, romcom -melodrama UbettinaWethu is back with its fourth season airing first on e.tv from the 8th of January filling the 6.30PM slot.
What’s a new season without seeing new faces, well in this brand new season we introduce two new characters:
XHANTI (The Deceiver) played by Prince Grootboom, who can be described as if Maps Maponyane had a doppelganger with the split personality of Vusi Thembekwayo it would be suave, eloquent, charming, intelligent, and good natured Xhanti Ximiya. This young man who has all of us intrigued and swooning is a 29-year-old undercover rich kid that comes from quiet wealth – his family is a highly politically and business connected family in the Eastern Cape.
Then we have KHETHIWE “KP” PHAKADE played by Amanda Seome
“Out with the old, in with the new” is one phrase you could use to describe this ambitious young woman, who believes she is here to change the game. Khethiwe is the new cool, fresh, vibey threat in the world of digital marketing, with “threat” being exactly what she sees herself as.
Produced by industry folk Known Associates Entertainment the fourth season promises to bring colour and humour to our TV screens. In season 4we will see Betty, her comrades, and kin in a whole new light as they realise new goals and fix old wounds. Betty has lost herself and her goals, so she sets off to realign and march forward renewed and determined to win without the distraction of personal relationships which has been her downfall in the past.
