Saturday night’s premiere of #CreedII brought out the who’s who of the entertainment industry in Mzansi, film’s director Steven Caple Jr., as well as leading actors Michael B Jordan ( Adonis Creed), and Florian Munteanu (Viktor Drago). 
The trio’s visit to South Africa, Sandton City, Johannesburg on the November 24 , was to promote the upcoming American boxing sports-drama film , Rocky, of our generation Creed II.
It was an unforgettable evening in the minds of a movie fanatics! An exciting evening of high-fives and loud cheers as cast and crew of ‘cred2’ walked the red carpet and everyone wanted to take a selfie with Michael B Jordan. And Maps held it down as the MC of the night.
The movie is all about family, legacy, relationships, love, passion and ofcoz boxing.It follows a fight 33 year in the making as Adonis Creed meets a new adversary; Viktor Drago, son of Ivan Drago, the powerful athlete who killed Adonis’ father Apollo Creed.
While official box office figures for the film’s opening weekend have yet to be finalized, Box Office Mojo reports that the latest estimates for Creed II have it setting new records for the Rocky franchise. The sequel is estimated to have grossed just over $35 million domestically, topping the previous record by Creed‘s $29.6M opening.
