SAMA award-winning musician, Zoë Modiga, is delighted to dust off her band gear and wow her core audience with the rare presence of her Neo-Soul flare. Joined by fellow bandmates Manana, Sebastian Schuster and Philip Scheibel, who form the culture colliding Neo-Soul quartet “Seba Kaapstad”, Zoë Modiga announces the collective’s wildly anticipated South African tour.
Known for their distinct blend of contemporary groove, celestial jazz, electronic experimentation, and polyrhythmic African soundscapes, Seba Kaapstad gives room for Zoë Modiga to stretch her alternative pallet. By exploring the entirety of her musical palette with the band, Zoë Modiga colours her signature style with diverse soundscapes.
Following the release of their 2020 critically acclaimed sophomore album, “Konke”, the band’s tour is scheduled to take place in South Africa’s economic hub and mother city. Loyal and new supporters alike will witness a different shade of Zoë Modiga’s form, harmony, melody, rhythm, texture, timbre and tonality.
