Seems like there’s double trouble in the Ambitiouz Entertainment .The temperature seems to have reached boiling point. So high are the temperatures, that the multi award-winners Emtee and Fifi Cooper might  leave the stable if the matter is not swiftly resolved .

The social media is buzzing with the story that reigning hip-hop king Mthembeni “Emtee” Ndevu and his fellow artist, rap queen Refilwe “Fifi Cooper” Moeketsi, are allegedly warring with their boss regarding their nearly R1-million Metro FM awards prize money. The story was first published on the Sunday World newspaper  with the headline “Boss ‘robs’ Emtee and Fifi Cooper”

Emtee (real name Mthembeni Ndevu) won four awards: Best Hip Hop album (for Avery), Best Music Video (for ‘Roll Up), Best Remix (for ‘Roll Up Re-up’, featuring AKA and Nigerian star Wizkid) and the Listener’s Choice award.

Motswako rapper Fifi Cooper (real name Refilwe Mooketsi) won Best Newcomer, Best Produced Album and Best Female Album for her debut album 20Fifi.

This year’s winners received a R100 000 (US$6350) cash prize for each category win, meaning that Emtee walked away with R400 000 ($25400) while Fifi Cooper took home a cool R300 000 ($19050). The pair represent the same talent stable, Johannesburg-based Ambitiouz Entertainment. Both are just 23 years old.
