This past weekend Johnnie Walker hosted its first ever pride brunch in celebration of their partnership with the iconic Vogue Nights. Johnnie Walker has set out a clear intention to break any and all existing stereotypes that create barriers to entry by putting diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything the brand does. Well-known for their work in the arts space and breaking boundaries, this partnership is a step in the right direction for the brand.

Through identifying and championing trailblazers and catalysts of change in the queer and LGBTQIA+ community, the number one whisky brand aims to promote a boldly and proudly queer culture in South Africa.
The Johnnie Walker pride brunch was attended by some of Mzanzi’s most well-known personalities which included the likes of fashion extraordinaire, Thebe Magugu, PR guru, Jay Badza as well as Diageo Head of Marketing and Innovation, Zizwe Vundla to mention a few.
