On the 31 October 2015, we caught up with the multi SAMA award winner, -singer, actress and songstress, Keabetswe Motsilenyane aka KB, at the Breast Cancer Awareness Concert
With her incredible performance, she got everyone singing along to her songs “Mmamosadi, Monifere,So seo setshabe and many more”
What many do not know is that in 2009 Kb had a breast reduction We asked Kb if whether or not her operation was related to Cancer and this is what she had to say:
I did not go for breast reduction operation because i had cancer. Extremely large breasts can cause numerous problems, not just aesthetically. Many women with big breast r they have neck and back pain, shoulder pain, chafing or rash, and they are unhappy with their appearance.So i went for operation to avoid and to prevent all that
When asked her what’s her take on Cancer Campaign she said that she was happy to play part on home activities and that she is also appreciate when leaders lead by example.
“I’m also moved to see that our premier who is a male, is here, to show his support and taking matters at heart. To me it says that he is a man who respects and takes women challenges very seriously. “
The concert organised by the department of health in collaboration with Tobeka Madiba Zuma Foundation was attended by the First Lady of the state Madam Tobeka Zuma,Sup,MEC of health ,Cancer survivors ,Multi Grammy award winners LadySmith Black Mambazo,gospel singer Solly Mahlangu
