06 November 2017  was a bittersweet night for  Thando Thabethe aka Nolwazi

The actor,model,MC and Presenter  announced her last day in the public broadcaster’s weekday Generations The Legacy And Future Plans.She has played the role since 2014 and her character will be on air until January 2018.

Announcing the news on Instagram, she said, “Good morning…officially my last day on the Generations set …but here’s to new beginning.” Thando could not just leave her fans with questions ,she shared with the world about her future behind scene plans

“Yes …I start production on a film TOMORROW.”

Creator of  Generation The Legacy,Mfundi Vundla,released a statement

 “The cast and crew of Generations: The Legacy wish Thando well. We will miss her great work ethic and her abundant talent. Thando Thabethe is one of South Africa’s most talented TV actors. She has a great future to look forward to.”

Just last week Thando launched her lingerie  and sleep wear range Thabootys #IamWoman

You should remember that earlier this year Thabooty was announced the new Ciroc Vodka SA brand Ambassador joining the likes of Cassper Nyovest .Thando is clearly a woman of many talents,She still continues with her MCing  gigs ,her radio show on 5fm is still one of the good shows her  fans will not miss it for a day,and now underwear designer to inspire woman to embrace their body shapes and to love their bodies. She will also continues to connect people via her club deejay  job.

Even though she is no longer going to be playing the character Nolwazi,to me and the rest of the Generation The legacy fans,she will always be Nolwazi!!!
